Triathlon license mandatory
The athlete must have a triathlon license in order to participate to the Belman Triathlon and must show it during registration in the Belman registration office. Warning! No license, no start!
In order to avoid last minute stress and other annoyances, please read carefully the information below according to your situation:
A) You have a 2018 license of a Belgian national triathlon federation:
Add your license and identity card (with photo) to your checklist! You will have to show it during registration on arrival, in the Belman office.
B) You don’t have a Belgian national triathlon Federation license :
At the pick-up of the race package you will be azsked to purchase a one-day-license. Therefore you will have to:
- Pay 30€ (Half Distance), 20€ (Standard Distance), 10€ (Sprint Distance)
- Deliver a medical certificate and official stamp stating no restrictions to race with a validity of less than 1 year on race day.
- Show your identity card with a recent photo.
In accordance with the laws and regulations, the medical certificate is mandatory to obtain a sports license in Belgium. This is an obligation incumbent on any competition organization for all sports. For this purpose, you will have to deliver a medical certificate written out by your physician mentioning the following data: your first and last name, your date of birth, the date, the physician’s stamp and signature. If one of these data is missing, the medical certificate will not be valid.
